Privacy Policy

MoovX™ is a brand of Neudach LLC.

This policy explains how MoovX collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you visit moovx.com, vote, write a review, or contact us. The site covers electric vehicles, AI, technology, and space.

Operator accounts sign in with email and password through Supabase Auth. Supabase receives the email address, the password, and an account identifier, and it keeps the session so the browser can stay signed in. The session is stored in local storage on that browser. Public registration is closed. Browsing the site, voting, and writing a review do not require an account.

When you vote on a vehicle, we store the vehicle, whether the vote was up or down, and the time. A vote is not stored with your name, email, or account. Vote totals are shown with rankings.

A review stores the display name you type, a star rating, the comment, the vehicle, and the time. A reply stores the display name, the comment, and the time. That text is published on the vehicle page. Use a name you are comfortable showing publicly. Do not include someone else’s private information in a review or reply.

We use browser storage for the site itself, and partners may set cookies when their tools run.

• Local storage remembers EV finder choices on your device, such as price, range, brand, body type, and year, so the filters can come back on a later visit.
• Session storage remembers which vehicle you opened so the finder can return you to that place.
• A signed-in operator’s Supabase session is kept in local storage.
• When Google Analytics 4 is enabled, Google sets cookies such as _ga and reads pages you view, a general location derived from your IP address, and device and browser details.
• Advertising partners, including Google AdSense and similar networks, may set cookies to serve and measure ads. Those cookies can remember that you visited this site.

You can update your choices anytime through Cookie Settings in the footer. Necessary storage stays on. Analytics cookies, including Google Analytics when it is configured, load only if you allow Analytics. Advertising and affiliate tracking load only if you allow Marketing. You can also clear cookies and site data in your browser. Clearing them removes saved filters and signs an operator out of this browser.

When you allow Analytics in Cookie Settings and a Google Analytics 4 measurement ID is configured, the site loads Google’s tag and Google receives usage data such as pages viewed, referring pages, approximate location, and device information. We use that to understand which parts of the site are used. Google’s handling of that data is described in Google’s privacy policy and how Google uses data from sites that use its services.

The site is hosted on Vercel. Vercel processes connection data, including IP address, browser type, and the page requested, to deliver the site and to protect it. Those hosting logs are separate from the content of a vote or a review.

Vehicle photos, the logo, and editorial images are stored and delivered by Cloudinary. When an operator uploads an image, the file is sent to Cloudinary. Visitors do not upload images from the public site.

MoovX may show ads from third parties, including Google AdSense and similar ad networks. Those companies may use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this site and other sites, and to measure how an ad performs. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables Google and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and other sites on the Internet.

Those advertising and affiliate cookies run only if you allow Marketing in Cookie Settings. You can control personalized ads in Google’s ad settings. How Google uses cookies in advertising is described in Google’s advertising cookie disclosure. You can also opt out of some other networks through the Digital Advertising Alliance and the Network Advertising Initiative.

Some outbound links are affiliate links. They include EnergySage through CJ Affiliate (Commission Junction) and links to other partners. If you follow a link and take a qualifying action, such as requesting a solar quote, MoovX may earn a commission. The partner and the affiliate network may receive the fact that you came from MoovX, may set a cookie, and may collect whatever you submit on their own site. We do not receive your payment card number.

Vehicle specs and prices are kept in our database. News pages are built from public RSS feeds, including publisher feeds and Google News. Those feeds are requested by our servers.

Spotlight and blog drafts may be prepared with OpenAI and Anthropic on our servers. Those providers receive the prompts we send. We do not send them your account email, votes, or reviews as part of ordinary browsing.

Related videos may be looked up with the YouTube Data API. When you play a video, the player loads from YouTube and Google receives data about that playback, including your IP address. Playback is covered by Google’s privacy policy.

We use the information above to:

• Run the site, including the EV database, rankings, Spotlight, blog, news, and tools
• Publish reviews, replies, and vote totals
• Keep an operator signed in and remember finder filters on that device
• Measure traffic, keep the site reliable, and moderate submissions
• Show advertising and affiliate offers
• Answer email sent to contact@moovx.com

We share information with service providers that host and operate the site: Supabase for the database and authentication, Vercel for hosting, Cloudinary for images, and Google for analytics, embedded video, and advertising when those features are on. Affiliate partners receive information when you follow their link. We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect MoovX, our users, or the public from harm or fraud.

We do not sell personal information for money. Under California law, allowing an ad partner to use cookies for cross-context behavioral advertising can be a “share.” That practice, and how to opt out, is covered under California privacy rights below.

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the CPRA, gives you these rights:

• Know the categories and specific pieces of personal information we collect about you
• Correct inaccurate personal information
• Delete personal information, subject to exceptions the law allows
• Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information
• Limit the use of sensitive personal information, if we use it for purposes that require that limit
• Not be discriminated against for exercising these rights

In the 12 months before the Last updated date, the categories we collect from site use are identifiers (such as an account email or a review display name), internet activity (pages viewed, and ad or affiliate interactions), approximate location derived from an IP address, and, for operators, image files they upload. We do not seek government IDs, precise GPS location, or other sensitive personal information.

To opt out of sale or sharing, use Google’s ad settings and email contact@moovx.com with the subject “Do not sell or share.” You may use an authorized agent. We may ask the resident to confirm the agent’s permission. We will verify a request against the information we hold, such as the account email or the display name and vehicle on a review, and we will respond within 45 days. If we need more time, we will tell you why and may take up to another 45 days, as the statute allows.

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, Neudach LLC is the controller for personal information described in this policy. You can reach us at contact@moovx.com.

We rely on these bases:

• Contract, when we provide a feature you ask for, such as posting a review you submit
• Legitimate interests, for hosting, security, moderation, and understanding how the site is used
• Consent, where the law requires it before non-essential cookies, including advertising cookies

You may ask to access, correct, delete, or restrict your personal information, ask for a portable copy, object to processing based on legitimate interests, and withdraw consent. You may also complain to your local data protection authority. Personal information is processed in the United States. Providers such as Supabase, Vercel, Cloudinary, and Google may process it in the United States and other countries under the transfer terms they offer.

MoovX is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child under 13 sent us a review or other personal information, email contact@moovx.com and we will delete it.

Account records are kept while the account exists, and deleted when the account is removed or when we complete a deletion request. Reviews and replies stay on the site until we remove them or complete a deletion request we can match to you. Votes stay in the public tally. Because a vote is not stored with a name, we usually cannot find one person’s vote in order to delete it.

Finder preferences stay in your browser until you clear them. Analytics data is kept according to Google Analytics settings. Advertising cookies are kept according to the ad partner’s policy. Hosting logs are kept for the period Vercel retains them for security and operations.

Email contact@moovx.com and ask us to delete your information. Include the account email if you have an account, or the display name and vehicle on a review or reply, so we can find the record. We will delete account data, reviews, and replies we can match to you. We will tell you if a request covers something we cannot match, such as an anonymous vote, or something we need to keep for a legal reason.

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will update the Last updated date at the top of this page. If you keep using the site after that date, the updated policy applies.
